Ahead of CES 2024, Samsung announced a trio of new OLED displays, including a super-sized 49-inch curved display.
As planned, the Consumer Electronics Show - CES 2024 will open next Tuesday and Samsung will display its new OLED screen line at the show (along with other devices). New screen models include: the ultra-wide curved Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 screen and the pair of flat OLED screens G8 and G6.
Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SD).
First, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SD) screen has a "huge" size of 49 inches. The screen has a resolution of 5,120 x 1,440px with a 32:9 aspect ratio, like two 16:9 screens side by side (no bezel in between).
On the other hand, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SD) display is a 32-inch 4K OLED display – with a flat design, which is ideal for those who don't like curved screens. The screen has a standard 16:9 aspect ratio and has a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160px.
The Samsung Odyssey G9 and G8 displays both have a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time. They are also Smart TVs (with the Tizen operating system) and support the Samsung Gaming Hub, making it possible for users to use game streaming services without needing to attach a PC or console.

Additionally, the display also supports Samsung SmartThings Hub and can control smart home devices using Matter and Home Connectivity Alliance protocols. Both also support the new Multi Control feature, allowing users to easily copy and paste text and images between Samsung devices connected to the display.
Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD) is a 27-inch flat OLED screen with QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels, 16:9 ratio). The display runs at a higher 360Hz refresh rate (but has the same 0.03ms GTG response time).

All three monitors are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified and support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro - allowing for variable refresh rate gaming.

They also feature rich connectivity with two HDMI 2.1 ports and a built-in USB hub. Because of the DisplayPort 1.4 input, users can connect the display to compatible laptops (and phones or tablets) with a single USB-C cable to transfer video and data.
The Samsung OLED Odyssey monitor comes with a stand - height-adjustable with tilt, swivel and pivot control points. They also feature Core Lightning+, an RGB lighting system on the back of the display, which provides a great atmosphere.
The Samsung Odyssey G9, G8 and G6 will be demoed at CES next week. Also here, the company will also announce launch details (date and price) for this trio of screens.
