2024 "Breaking Barriers: Super Electric Car Sets Two Speed Records"

With all the above parameters, this super car is not cheap. To own one of the first 50 production cars, customers will have to spend 2.5 million pounds (equivalent to more than 3 million USD). Aspark began selling Owls to potential customers in 2020.

Aspark began developing the high-performance electric vehicle Owl since 2015.

The above record was established under the supervision of the British Timing Association at Elvington Airport, Yorkshire during the Straightliners speed record event.

Five years ago, this car model set an acceleration record of 0-100km/h in 1.9 seconds.

Japan has many large, globally famous car manufacturers, but the above two records come from Aspark, a brand that is unfamiliar to most people. This company was founded in 2005 by a Japanese businessman, with headquarters in Osaka.

Aspark provides engineering services to the automotive industry as well as the heavy and electronics industries. The company then researched and developed electric vehicles. The Aspark Owl electric supercar appeared as a pre-production prototype at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show and was officially launched in November 2019 at the Dubai International Motor Show.
