At the 2022 Thailand International Motor Show, Honda brought a surprising SUV model, named e:Prototype, which is the predecessor of the pure electric version of the HR-V.
The Honda e:Prototype made its global debut last year at the Shanghai Auto Show, then was realized by two "twin" models, the e:NS1 and e:NP1 (one by joint venture Dongfeng Honda and one manufactured by GAC Honda).
The global version of these electric vehicle models is the e:Ny1 Prototype launched in March this year and is expected to share the same e:N Architecture F chassis platform for front-wheel drive vehicles.
Honda HR-V is about to have a pure electric version, which will be a rival to VinFast VF 6 - 1
The Honda e:Prototype model is the predecessor of the pure electric version of the HR-V (Honda photo).
HR-V belongs to the B-class crossover segment, so the electric version of this model may compete with VinFast VF 6 when both officially launch.
The design of the concept being introduced in Thailand is basically the same as the HR-V currently on the market, except for the sealed grille - a characteristic of electric vehicles, along with additional ports. charger, LED light strip connecting the two headlight clusters, and ultra-thin door mirrors.
