The Maybach EQS 680 is developed based on the regular EQS 680 model.

The Maybach 680 model increased capacity to 649 horsepower, although torque did not increase much, only from 850Nm to 950Nm, helping to shorten the 0-96km/h acceleration time from 4.6 seconds to 4.4 seconds.
Mercedes did not announce the capacity of the battery pack, but it seems that it will remain the 107.8kWh type used for other EQS models. The Maybach EQS 680 will be able to run 600km on a full battery charge, according to WLTP standards, which is only a little less than the 613km of the Mercedes EQS 580.
Mercedes did not mention much about electric engine technology when introducing the EQS 680 model, but focused on the car's comfort and luxury.
