Cheap Galaxy A24 receives special incentives from Samsung

 The recently launched Galaxy A24 is considered one of the cheapest Galaxy A series devices, but it is even more attractive thanks to special weapons from Samsung.


According to the latest information, Samsung has added Galaxy A24 to the list of smartphones that will be updated every 4 years. Previously, the Galaxy A33 was the cheapest Samsung A series device to receive Samsung's industry-leading update commitment.

Galaxy A24 can be supported with updates up to Android 14.


Galaxy A24 is a smartphone running on One UI 5.1 based on Android 13, which ensures that the phone will receive updates until Android 17. Additionally, the phone will receive security updates for 5 years - a big update promise for a phone costing under 6.7 million VND.

Currently, Galaxy A24 is available in Vietnam and some African regions. The phone comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 chip and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Galaxy A24 has 6/8 GB RAM, 128 GB internal memory and supports 2 SIMs. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot that can expand the storage up to 1 TB.

The Galaxy A24's rear camera system features three cameras, including a 50 MP wide-angle lens, a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro lens. On the other hand, the front camera has a resolution of 13 MP. The phone offers two color options: Lime Green and Vampire Black.

Galaxy A24 becomes Samsung's cheapest smartphone with a commitment to 4-year update support.

On the front, the Galaxy A24 has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a "waterdrop"-shaped cutout for the 13MP front camera. Previous rumors said that the screen would only have a 90Hz refresh rate instead of 120Hz like the more expensive "brother" versions.


The latest Galaxy A-series phone is equipped with MediaTek Helio G99 chip along with 6/8GB RAM combined with 128GB internal memory, expandable via microSD card. The back of the device has a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization - OIS, a 5MP super wide-angle camera and a 2MP close-up - macro camera.


Regarding software, Samsung phones run Android 13 operating system with OneUI 5.1 user interface. The phone has a 5,000 mAh battery, supports 25W charging.
