MediaTek has just announced the Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7300X processors. This new product duo has enhanced computing capabilities thanks to artificial intelligence (AI), 5G connection with a maximum speed of 3.27Gbps. Both Dimensity 7300 chipsets have 8-core CPUs, including 4 Arm Cortex-A78 cores operating at 2.5GHz, combined with 4 Arm Cortex-A55 cores. According to MediaTek, the 4nm process reduces the power consumption of the A78 cores by up to 25% compared to the Dimenisty 7050. The Arm Mali-G615 GPU runs with the MediaTek HyperEngine optimization engine to help accelerate the gaming experience.
Compared to competing solutions, the Dimensity 7300 series delivers 20% faster fps and 20% improved power efficiency. To further enhance the gaming experience, these new chips use intelligent resource optimization technology, optimize 5G and Wi-Fi gaming connectivity, and support Bluetooth LE Audio technology with audio. The Dimensity 7300 chipsets have upgraded imaging capabilities with MediaTek Imagiq 950, supporting main cameras up to 200MP. The product has also been enhanced with new hardware tools to deliver noise reduction, face detection, and HDR video.

With NeuroPilot Speculative Decode Acceleration, Dimensity 9300+ can run LLM with 7 billion parameters at 22 tokens per second, more than 2 times the speed of popular mass-market solutions.
The chip also leverages MediaTek's latest HyperEngine technologies to take gaming to the next level. MediaTek Adaptive Gaming Technology (MAGT) increases power efficiency when enabled in popular games, helping to extend battery life and keep the device cool.
Additionally, the processor integrates HyperEngine's new Network Observation System (NOS) to improve dual Wi-Fi/Cellular network consolidation, and leverage accurate network prediction technology. When activated, MediaTek NOS will save up to 10% energy and save mobile data up to 25%, according to the manufacturer's announcement.
With the Imagiq 990 ISP capable of 18-bit RAW processing, the Dimensity 9300+ allows users to capture incredible photos and videos, even in low-light environments. The Imagiq 990 integrates an AI semantic analysis video engine to support AI video recording features, including 16 scene segmentation with real-time video recording to reduce noise, increase brightness, and enhance color.
To provide users with fast and reliable connectivity in various scenarios, Dimensity 9300+ integrates a 5G R16 modem designed with AI situational awareness. The modem supports 4CC-CA Sub-6GHz with download speeds up to 7Gbps.
