In particular, Wired also points out that Perplexity ignores the Robots Exclusion Protocol, a widely accepted web standard, to collect data from websites that operators do not want bots to access.
Forbes sent a letter threatening to sue Perplexity for "willful infringement" of their copyright. This case is causing a lot of controversy about ethical and legal issues related to AI's use of online content.
Although praised and used daily by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, these allegations could seriously impact Perplexity's reputation. Whether this chatbot can overcome this crisis and continue to grow, remains an open question.
In the context of AI being a trend in the technology industry, a new rookie has just appeared to compete with GPT-4 and Gemini 1.5 Pro.
Technology startup Anthropic has just introduced its latest artificial intelligence (AI) model called Claude 3.5 Sonnet. This model is considered to be twice as fast as the previous version and is capable of outperforming OpenAI's GPT-4 and Google's Gemini 1.5 Pro in many different tasks.
Claude 3.5 Sonnet can write and translate code, handle complex workflows, interpret graphs, extract text from images, understand humorous language, and write in the most natural style possible.

A special feature of Claude 3.5 Sonnet is the Artifacts feature, which allows users to view and interact directly with the results in the application. For example, when requesting a design model, users can view and edit images right in the application; or when required to write an email, users can edit that email without copying it to other software.
Anthropic is expected to complete the Claude 3.5 model by the end of this year and release two more versions: Claude 3.5 Haiku and Claude 3.5 Opus.
Previously, Anthropic focused on developing AI products for businesses, to help companies centralize knowledge, documents and work securely in a common space.
