A week before the official launch, the specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 have been leaked in detail. The information reveals some interesting things about the Galaxy Z Fold 6's display as well as the battery and performance of the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Leakster Evan Blass has leaked images of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The images show that both phones will have an Armor Aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection for the outer display. Experts expected Samsung to use a titanium frame for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Notably, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 are rated IP48 for dust and water resistance. While not as good as the IP68 rating for standard premium smartphones, it's still a big improvement over the IPX8 rating typically found on foldable phones.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 features a 3.4-inch front display and a 6.7-inch folding display. The front display retains a resolution of 720 x 748 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz, while the 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display has a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with HD+ resolution and a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with QXGA+ resolution. Both displays have a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of up to 2,600 nits. That's the same as the display on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Both Samsung phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 may also come in a 1TB storage variant. Both phones run One UI 6.1.1 software based on Android 14. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a vapor chamber system for more efficient cooling, a first for the Galaxy Z Flip series.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 both have Galaxy AI, so you can use features like Circle to Search, Interpreter Mode, and Notes Summarization. However, there aren't any of the previously rumored new AI features. Chat Assist seems to have been improved and optimized for the Galaxy Z Flip 6's cover display, making it easier to reply to messages with contextual replies suggested by Galaxy AI.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP selfie camera. It can shoot 4K 60fps video with all of its cameras.
The Z Fold 6 has a 50MP main rear camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera (3x zoom). For selfies and video calls, it has a 10MP camera on the cover screen and a 4MP camera on the inside screen. It can shoot 4K 60fps video with all cameras, like the Galaxy Z Flip 6, but can also shoot 8K 30fps video and 4K 120fps slow-motion video with the main camera.

Despite having a 4,000mAh battery, an upgrade over the Flip 5's 3,700mAh battery, the Z Flip 6 is still thinner than its predecessor at 85.1 × 71.9 × 14.9mm and weighs 187g, similar to the Z Flip 5.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 measures 155.5 x 152.6 x 5.6mm when unfolded. The folded dimensions are 85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9mm. It weighs 239g, 14g lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Similar to its predecessor, it has a 4,400mAh battery.

Both phones have a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, dual SIM slots, GPS, 5G network support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. However, only the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has Samsung DeX.
