The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has finally arrived after months of speculation, announced at Samsung's Unpacked event on July 10. The foldable smartphone has some significant upgrades this year and is becoming a strong contender for the title of best foldable phone of 2024.

One of the main improvements of this year's Galaxy Z Flip 6 is the new rear camera cluster: a 50MP main camera - replacing the 12MP main camera on the Galaxy Z Flip 5.

The new camera supports 2x optical zoom, which can take beautiful portrait photos. On top of that, AI also helps to zoom and refine photos up to 10x zoom. In addition, the back of the device comes with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
On the software side, users can take advantage of the Advanced Night Shot feature with HDR video for better-looking videos even in low-light conditions. Additionally, the FlexCam feature has also been improved with a new auto-zoom feature. This feature helps find the best frame for the photo by detecting the subject and zooming in and out to ensure everything looks its best.

Just like the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is powered by Qualcomm's most powerful processor yet, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The processor has been optimized to deliver powerful and performance support expanded Galaxy AI features.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is now available for pre-order. In the US, it's $100 more expensive than the Galaxy Z Flip 5, starting at $1,099. The phone will be available globally.
