If notifications of friends posting new photos and statuses annoy you, turn them off completely by following these instructions.

Recently, Facebook users have been constantly bothered by notifications of new statuses or photos from friends, even if they are virtual friends that we rarely or never interact with. Previously, this feature was only enabled for friends in the Closed Friends list.

Instead of having to click to read or delete notifications, Facebook users can completely block these notifications by following these steps:

Step 1: Click on the icon in the upper right corner of the Facebook interface > select Settings & privacy > then select Settings .

However, starting this July, when using the Facebook or Instagram apps on the iOS platform to run ads, advertisers will be charged an additional 30% service fee by Apple on the total advertising amount, excluding applicable taxes and other fees by country.

Meta is about to collect 30% of the money users spend to run ads on Facebook and Instagram apps.

Meta asserts that this service fee is collected by Apple, and that Meta does not collect any additional fees. Apple's service fee is a result of updates Apple made to its App Store Review Guidelines.

"Meta is forced to comply with Apple's guidelines or remove promotional posts on iOS apps. Meta does not want to remove the Boosted Post advertising feature, because businesses will lose a convenient and effective advertising method," Meta said.

To support the millions of small businesses using Boosted Post advertising on Facebook and Instagram, Meta recommends that advertisers can go directly to Instagram.com or Facebook.com on mobile and desktop to promote content and avoid Apple's 30% service fee.
