Motorola Edge 50 has been officially announced with a premium design, super thin and surprisingly sturdy.
Right after the launch of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion, the “standard” Motorola Edge 50 was announced. This is a mid-range smartphone in the Android segment but still has a stronger configuration than the Motorola Edge 50 Neo.

While the Motorola Edge 50 technically can't compete with Samsung 's Galaxy XCover Pro in terms of durability, Motorola is touting the latest member of the Edge "family" as being able to withstand everything from shock and vibration to extreme temperatures, high humidity, dirt, sand, and even "accidental splashes of water."
Notably, the Motorola phone is quite slim and elegant. Furthermore, the phone has passed the test according to the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD-810H standard.

The Motorola Edge 50 is expected to cost just 600 Euros (about 16.5 million VND) in Europe with the 512GB internal memory and 12GB RAM option. It is likely that the product will be priced lower when it "lands" in India
Motorola introduced the Edge 50 Ultra last month, followed by two other members of the Edge 50 family, the Fusion and the Pro. However, there's still one model missing from the lineup, the standard version that was expected to launch alongside the Edge 50 Ultra, according to Phone Arena.
Motorola wants to keep the Edge 50 series in the spotlight for as long as possible by releasing each version of the series. A new report says the US-based company plans to launch the standard Edge 50 model later this month.

According to 91mobiles citing a reliable source, the standard Motorola Edge 50, called Edge 50 5G, will be launched in Europe for around 600 euros (about 16 million VND). This makes it the third most expensive Edge 50 model in the series after the Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Pro. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion remains the cheapest model in the series at just 400 euros (about 11 million VND).
The source also revealed that the color options for the Motorola Edge 50 5G are gray, green, and peach. It's also worth noting that the rumored price of €600 is for the model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, so the Edge 50 5G could be a bit cheaper if Motorola decides to release lower-memory versions.
There's no word yet on the specifications of the standard Edge 50 5G. The details that have been confirmed are standard features for most phones these days, such as NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 6, and 5G support.
Like the other Edge 50 phones, the standard model will ship with Android 14 out of the box. After launching in Europe later this month, Motorola will bring the Edge 50 series to other countries.
However, it is not yet known when and if Motorola will change the name or specifications of the Edge 50 series when it launches in other countries.
