As expected, Realme GT 6 has been officially launched in China as the successor to Realme GT 5 introduced last year.

Unlike the global version, the Realme GT 6 brings a fresh design with a flat frame and a rectangular camera module at the back. The back also has a two-tone look due to the darker and lighter shades of the same color. The device is IP65 certified for dust and water resistance.
Realme GT 6 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED BOE S1+ screen with a resolution of 2,780 x 1,264 pixels for a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 6,000 nits, an integrated fingerprint scanner and 2160 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. The screen is protected by Crystal Armor Glass.
On the back of the phone, there is a dual camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS support and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, the phone has a 16MP selfie camera.
Inside, the Realme GT 6 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of internal storage. The device is equipped with a large 10,000-level dual-heat dissipation system to dissipate heat. There is also an aerospace-grade aluminum mid-frame and insulation to keep temperatures low. The product is powered by a second-generation silicon-carbon anode battery technology for a capacity of 5,800mAh, supports 120W wired charging, and is compatible with 33W UFCS and 55W PPS fast charging standards.

Realme GT 6 is equipped with Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 operating system. The product has many AI features such as AI portal, AI call summary, AIGC, etc. The device also comes with gesture controls to perform actions without touching the screen. Other features on the smartphone include IR control, X-axis linear motor, and sky communication system including 5.5 GHz network and Wi-Fi-7 protocol.

Finally, the Realme GT 6 starts at CNY 3,999 ($385) for the 12/256GB variant, while the 16/256GB and 16/512GB variants are priced at CNY 3,999 ($426) and CNY 4,999 ($467) respectively. The top-end 16GB + 1TB configuration is priced at CNY 3,999 ($536).
Users are offered Storm Purple, Light Year White, and Dark Side of the Moon color options, with the latter option coming with a gradient pattern on the back that resembles the surface of the moon. The device can be purchased starting July 15 in China.
