Whether you just bought a new iPhone or are a longtime iPhone user, you may not know about these useful camera tricks or have forgotten them.
6 Great iPhone Camera Features Many People May Have Forgotten - 1
With each generation of iPhone , Apple improves or adds some features and tricks to the device’s camera, and they are really useful when used properly.
Over time, people start to forget these features or find new features that do more of the same thing.
If you’ve just bought a brand new phone or are a long-time iPhone user, you may not know about these useful camera tricks or have forgotten about them:
Photographic Styles
Introduced with the iPhone 13 lineup, Photographic Styles is one of the coolest iPhone photography tricks Apple has ever added.
You can switch between four styles, which Apple says aren’t filters.
If you like your photos to be more vivid, cooler, or warmer, you can set them up so that whenever you take a photo, those settings are available.
While this feature is really cool, many users may have forgotten about it.
Just open the Camera app, swipe up on the image, and tap the three frames that appear at the bottom of the screen to choose your favorite Photography Style.

Action Mode
Introduced with the iPhone 14, this video mode lets you capture a smooth subject even when you're in motion.
As the name suggests, Action Mode only works if the subject is moving.
If you're just casually walking, this mode isn't the best option for shooting video.
To enable Action Mode on iPhone, swipe to Video mode in the Camera app and tap the running person icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Sloppy
You may not remember, but Apple tried to make Slofies a feature on the iPhone 11. After the incredible success of Memoji on the iPhone X, Apple thought they could create another trend. Slofies is a feature that involves taking selfies in slow motion.
Slofies aren't exactly impressive, but they can still be a lot of fun. With the right lighting and something interesting happening behind you, Slofies can be worth it. To take a Slofie, open the Camera app, turn the camera toward you, and swipe to Slo-mo mode. Tap the red button to start recording, then tap again to end.

Flash
With Night Mode having been around for so long, many people have forgotten about one of the most fundamental features of any camera: the flash. The iPhone flash, in particular, is really good. You might not keep up with Apple’s flash, but the company upgrades it almost every year, making it brighter and more consistent.
So instead of relying on Night Mode for action shots and group shots, use the flash. It will look better and save you time. Don't forget to swipe up, tap the flash option, and change the flash status to "On" instead of "Auto."

Live Photos can turn into videos or allow for better framing
Live Photos have been around since the iPhone 6S. These moving photos can also help you create a video of a moment. While it’s better to shoot video than rely on Live Photos, if you take multiple photos in quick succession, you can tap and hold the first photo to see a movie clip of the action.
Additionally, if you want to tweak the photo, you can choose a new frame that you think looks better than Apple's choice.

Swipe up!
Don’t forget to swipe up. This is an action that is often overlooked. With newer iPhones that have more tricks, Apple is always adding more interactions. You might remember some of the little tweaks you can add to your photo or video by swiping up. You can turn on the flash, Night Mode, Live Photos, Picture Styles, image formats, and more.
To fully enjoy your iPhone and take the best photos, don't forget to explore the camera and its built-in options.
