The overall design of the Pixel 9 series is quite similar to the iPhone, with rounded corners and flat edges, no longer curved like previous Pixel versions.
However, the back of the series still retains the typical Pixel design style, with the camera cluster placed on a floating island horizontally across the body.
The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL retain the same screen sizes as the previous Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch respectively.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 9 Pro is considered a hybrid version of the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro XL, with a screen equivalent to the Pixel 9 but equipped with the features of the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

The product is 5.1mm thin when expanded, compared to 5.8mm of the first Pixel Fold version.
The screen size of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has also increased, with a 6.3-inch wide outer screen and an 8-inch wide inner screen, replacing the 5.8-inch and 7.6-inch sizes of the old version.
However, the battery capacity on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is reduced to 4,650mAh from the 4,821mAh of the Pixel Fold launched last year.

All Pixel 9 series products are equipped with the new generation Tensor G4 chip developed by Google and have a huge amount of RAM. The Pixel 9 version has 12GB of RAM, accompanied by 128GB and 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, the Pro variants of the Pixel 9 are equipped with 16GB of RAM.
The reason Google has to equip its new generation of smartphones with large RAM capacity is to help the products process artificial intelligence (AI) features smoothly right on the device without having to send data out.
The AI features equipped by Google on its Pixel 9 series include the AI Gemini chatbot that allows users to quickly answer questions, the feature of searching for information through screenshots, the Pixel Studio feature that allows users to create images from descriptive text...
Google also integrates many AI image processing features on the new product series, helping to improve the quality of photos taken from the product and allowing users to process images after taking them, such as the feature of removing redundant objects, expanding the scene on the photo with AI... In particular, Google will equip the product with the "Add me" feature, allowing users to add a photo of someone to a group photo.
