The second-generation Pixel foldable phone is about 15.5mm taller than the Pixel Fold, which is even taller than Samsung 's Galaxy Z Fold 6 .

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is 10.5mm thick when folded and just 5.1mm thick when unfolded,
while also reducing the weight to 257 grams, making it much more comfortable to hold.
Another notable design change is the hinge - it's completely flat when unfolded, and the device is now IPX8 water-resistant.
Thanks to the new aspect ratio, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a larger 6.3-inch outer display and an 8-inch square folding display.
Both are FHD+ OLED displays with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 2,700 nits. They also have a 10MP selfie camera.

On the back, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a 48MP main camera along with a 10.5MP telephoto lens (5x optical zoom) and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle module. Overall, this parameter is not much different from its predecessor.
The Pixel 9 Pro is powered by Google 's new Tensor G4 chip , built on Samsung's 4nm process, which includes: 1 main Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.1GHz, 3 Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.6GHz, and 4 Cortex-A520 cores clocked at 1.95GHz.
Users can choose from up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold will get seven years of software updates. The Google phone has a 4,650 mAh battery, which should last for 24 hours of normal use. Wired charging is limited to 21W.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes in two colors - Porcelain White and Obsidian Black. It costs $1,799 for the 256GB version and $1,919 for the 512GB version. It will ship from September 4.
