iPhone 16 series marketing materials reveal important details

A series of alleged iPhone 16 promotional images have leaked, revealing early details about Apple's upcoming flagship products.

The images include the recently discussed colorways, as well as key specs like the A18 chip.

The leak shows all models, from the iPhone 16 to the iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The four images published by Lakhwinder Singh appear to be Apple's marketing materials for the iPhone 16 in the Chinese market, based on the text shown.

First, we find two images showing the colors of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16, accompanied by new wallpapers reminiscent of macOS X.

This is not too surprising as similar images have appeared many times.

More interestingly, the image shows a brief list of iPhone 16 specs, confirming a vertically arranged camera cluster reminiscent of the iPhone 12.

The phone is described as having a 6.1-inch display with an aluminum and glass body, along with an Action button on the side.

The device is also said to feature a 48MP camera capable of shooting video for Apple Vision Pro, along with an A18 chip and a USB-C port.

Another image shows the back of the iPhone 16 Pro, highlighting the rumored 48MP ultra-wide camera upgrade.

The content also mentions the quad-lens (previously reserved for the iPhone 15 Pro Max) as well as the computational photography capabilities of the A18 Pro chip.

Note that while these leaks look like regular Apple marketing materials online, there’s no guarantee they’re authentic.

Some are reportedly using the hype of the iPhone 16 to drum up fans with Photoshop. The source of the leak also doesn’t have a notable history with Apple products.

The iPhone 16 is only three weeks away from launch, so in the meantime, keep in mind that the iPhone 16 will remain a global release, but will be rolled out gradually across different markets.

The tech world is buzzing about Apple's upcoming iPhone 16 launch event, which is expected to take place next month. Previous rumors have claimed that these "super products" will be introduced on September 10.

Recently, source Majin Bu has officially revealed the official announcement time of the iPhone 16 series, confirming that Apple's event will indeed take place on September 10. Majin Bu also posted an image with the text about the event invitation and a rather attractive photo capture command: "Ready. Set. Capture".

This text implicitly confirms that the new capacitive shutter button will be available on all iPhone 16 models. This new button is expected to provide controls for focus and zoom, and will even be pressure-sensitive, providing haptic feedback.

In fact, it makes perfect sense for Apple to schedule its event on this day. The company typically holds its iPhone launch events on Tuesdays, and September 10th is actually a Tuesday.

If the above prediction is correct, pre-orders for the iPhone 16 Series could begin from Friday, September 13. Additionally, their official "on shelves" date could fall on Friday, September 20.

In addition to the new iPhone 16 lineup — which includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max — we're also expecting to see the new Apple Watch Series 10 (or Apple Watch X), Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3.

In addition, "Apple" may also launch two versions of the fourth-generation AirPods wireless headphones, including an affordable version with basic features and a more expensive option with active noise cancellation (ANC).
