Samsung has just announced its new LPDDR5X DRAM chip - the thinnest DRAM chip for smartphones. The 12nm chip comes in 12GB and 16GB options, designed for low-power RAM, mainly aimed at smartphones with integrated Artificial Intelligence - AI.

The chip is just 0.65mm thick, 9% thinner than the previous generation. The company estimates that this design will help them cool 21.2% better.
Samsung created the new chip by optimizing epoxy and printed circuit board (PCB) compound techniques, reducing the LPDDR5X DRAM chip to the thickness of a fingernail. The chip is designed in a 4-layer structure, each layer consisting of 2 LPDDR DRAM.

Samsung is now shipping thinner chips to manufacturers. As demand for high-performance, high-density mobile memory continues to grow, the company plans to develop 24GB 6-layer and 32GB 8-layer modules into the thinnest chips for future devices.
Now, Samsung 's Galaxy F14 4G is officially available in the Indian market. This is one of the company's budget smartphones this year.
In terms of configuration, the Galaxy F14 4G is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 chip, combined with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory (expandable). The device has a 6.7-inch LCD screen, 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate.
