In a Weibo post, user @Smart Pikachu revealed that Xiaomi may be planning to introduce a tri-fold smartphone.
Like other tri-fold smartphones, the device will have three separate parts that can be opened up to form a large screen on the inside, similar in size to a tablet.
When folded, the phone will have a standard form factor like other smartphones but will be thicker due to the three screens inside.
The post added that Xiaomi's 3-fold phone could be unveiled at a tech event, such as the Mobile World Congress 2025 scheduled for February next year.
