Customers can order the iPad mini 7 now with expected delivery starting October 23.
In its announcement, Apple said the A17 Pro chip on the iPad mini 7 offers 30% faster performance than the A15 Bionic, while the new GPU is also up to 25% faster.
In particular, this chip allows the USB-C port to reach a maximum speed of 10 Gbps, along with Wi-Fi 6E support to help users receive a faster and more stable wireless connection experience.
In terms of design, the iPad mini 7 retains the familiar shape but has been added with some new colors, including Blue and Purple
A highlight in the design is the magnetic charging area on the side of the device to support wireless charging for the Apple Pencil Pro.
