A smartphone with a triple-folding screen may be launched by Samsung in 2025.
According to GSMArena, Samsung may launch a smartphone with a triple-folding screen in 2025.
The company is technologically ready and the supply chain is also prepared for this new product.
However, the final decision will come from the MX (Mobile eXperience) division responsible for foldable phones.
According to recent information, orders for OLED panels for foldable screens have dropped by more than 10% due to demand for the
Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 not meeting expectations.

Samsung Display is expected to ship 12 million foldable OLED panels in 2024, down 40% from 20 million shipments last year.
This includes displays for Galaxy products as well as for partners such as Xiaomi, Vivo, and OPPO.
Of these, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 models are expected to account for about 8 million

units, down from the previous target of 10 million units.
Sales trends for all devices, both new and old, are showing signs of declining year after year.
To counter this, Samsung is planning to introduce a cheaper version of the Galaxy Z Flip, making it more accessible to consumers.
Notably, this is not the first time Samsung has been rumored to be working on a tri-fold smartphone.
In March 2023, a source said that the Korean company had decided not to launch the
Galaxy S23 FE to focus on developing a tri-fold smartphone, which is expected to launch in 2025.
