According to source Digital Chat Station, the 7,000 mAh battery will be deployed on a real smartphone.

In fact, high-end smartphones like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S24 Ultra already have large batteries. However, thanks to a technological breakthrough, this dream smartphone will have a much larger battery capacity.

Who is the mysterious Ouga Group?
This is an internal collaboration between Oppo/OnePlus, which will essentially fall under the large umbrella of the BBK group (behind Vivo, Oppo and OnePlus phones).
The key term here is “high silicon”. This new material replaces the graphite anode of traditional batteries with a new silicon material that can capture more lithium ions – which can hold MORE capacity.
The technology has been under development for years by Washington-based Group14 and has finally reached the stage where it can be safely deployed in real batteries.

Phones with actual 7,000 mAh batteries are expected to launch next year, in 2025.
Of course, the first companies to implement this technology could be Oppo and OnePlus.
We’ve already seen some form of silicon-anode battery in the Xiaomi 15 Pro series. Honor was the first to introduce a smartphone with a revolutionary silicon-anode battery nearly two years ago. And some recent phones have batteries that are almost that size. The mid-range Vivo Y300 Pro, for example, has a 6,500 mAh battery.
Two-day battery life
Not many companies officially announce the “Days of Use” battery for their smartphones. But now, Xiaomi has done it.
The new Xiaomi 15 Pro can last for 1.5 days thanks to the 6,100 mAh battery inside. This is a great battery life but still falls a bit short of the expected two-day battery life.

For mid-range phones, we have devices like the Oppo K12 Plus (6,400 mAh battery) that has an official battery life of 2.2 days.
And with 7,000 mAh batteries coming next year, we're looking at a 15% improvement. That means high-end smartphones can last up to two full days without needing to be charged, and mid-range phones can last up to 2.5 days.
Even with less usage, users can extend battery life to 3 days between charges.
iPhone, Galaxy and Pixel phones haven't caught up yet
Experts predict that the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Galaxy S25 Ultra or Pixel 10 Pro XL will not have a 7,000 mAh battery.
These companies are slow to adopt new technologies and cannot afford to take risks with a flagship product that is produced in millions of units.
So, it’s likely that these “big guys” will wait and let other companies claim the honor of being the first to launch a smartphone with a 7,000 mAh battery. And after about a year or so, we may see this technology applied to mainstream smartphones.
