With the screen size increased to 6.9 inches, the body of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be slightly larger, but the screen bezels will be much thinner than the previous generation, which is great!
The display is protected by Ceramic Shield on the front, and we expect nothing less than IP68 water and dust resistance. USB C makes its second appearance on the iPhone, and on the Pro models it’s a USB 3 port for much faster data transfer speeds. But you’ll need a cable that supports at least 10Gbps to use it, and that’s not what the iPhone offers.

Of course, the action mode button is still equipped on the iPhone 16. Some people like to turn this action button into a button to turn on their camera, but now the functions have been expanded a lot, you can set it to open another application, put the phone in a special DND mode, turn on the flashlight or do whatever you like because the camera activation has its own button.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max display has a resolution of 2868 x 1320 pixels, which means a sharpness of about 460 pixels per inch. The aspect ratio is 19.5: 9, the same as previous generations.

For video, there are some big upgrades to audio, with the power of AI and the iPhone 16 Pro's amazing microphones, you'll be able to filter and process voices from recorded video.
Slow motion recording has gotten a big upgrade, now capable of shooting 4K at 120 FPS. That's a lot of frames to slow down at super high resolution, and vloggers and content creators will love it.
And of course, we can't forget about AI-powered photo tweaks. iOS 18 will bring a new "Clean Up" tool in Photos, which lets you easily erase an object, similar to Google's Magic Eraser feature.
