Recent leaks have revealed the specifications of Xiaomi's upcoming Redmi K80 series, promising many impressive upgrades.
Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi K80 series of phones at the end of November. A leak from leaker @ExperienceMore on Weibo has revealed the configuration of the two models Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro.
Redmi K80
The standard version of the Redmi K80 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a powerful chip although not the latest. The screen of the device uses a Huaxing LTPS panel with 2K resolution and a flat design, similar to the previous generation.
The rear camera system includes a 50 MP Omnivision OV50 main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. The front camera is expected to use a 20 MP Omnivision OV20B sensor. In terms of battery life, the Redmi K80 has a large capacity of 6,500 mAh, accompanied by 90 W fast charging technology.
In addition, the device is also equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated under the screen, a metal frame that gives a premium feel, the front and back are protected by Dragon Crystal Glass, and IP68 dust and water resistance.

Redmi K80 Pro
Redmi K80 Pro promises to bring more notable upgrades. The Pro version will use the top Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The screen is still the Huaxing 2K LTPS type with a flat design.
The camera cluster on the Redmi K80 Pro is upgraded with a 50 MP Omnivision OV50 main sensor, a 32 MP ISOCELL KD1 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP ISOCELL JN5 telephoto camera that supports 2.6x optical zoom. The front camera still retains the same 20 MP sensor as the standard version.
In terms of battery, the Redmi K80 Pro has a capacity of 6,000 mAh, but is compensated by 120W fast charging technology and 50W wireless charging. Other features such as ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, metal frame, Dragon Crystal Glass and IP68 water resistance are similar to the standard Redmi K80 version.
