According to GSMArena, Redmi has confirmed that the K80 series will be laun
ched on November 27, and shared official images of the K80 Pro model.
Redmi says the phone has a 1.9mm "ultra-narrow" bottom bezel, a 50:50
top-to-bottom screen ratio, 2K resolution, uses circular polarization technology, a
d DC dimming across the entire brightness scale, so there's no need for PWM.
“DC dimming” is a technology that reduces eye strain when using a devic
e in low light conditions. This is achieved by directly adjusting the amount of current passing through the display, so less current me
ns less brightness. OLED dimming is divided into two modes: PWM and DC. These two dimming methods have different operating mechanisms.

In terms of configuration, Redmi K80 Pro is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, comes with a Huaxing LTPS 2K screen.

tion 32MP ISOCELL KD1 ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP ISCOELL JN5 telephoto lens with 2.6x optical zoom. The front camera uses a quality 20MP sensor.
Redmi K80 will be equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless.
To “warm up” ahead of the launch, the K80 Pro’s “Snow Rock White” colorway
was also announced. This colorway is created using Xiaomi’s “fog light integration” technology.

According to Redmi's official promotional image, the K80 Pro model wi
ll be equipped with Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0. The device is equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint with the claim that "it can
recognize fingerprints even when fingers are wet in an extremely fast time".
The phone is also equipped with "Xiaomi Star Communication" technology that allows two-way offline calls within a range
of 3.5km; supports IP68 / IP69 water and dust resistance as well as AI touch 2.0 technology.
