New cutting-edge technology promises to make 400MP smartphone cameras a reality?
At the Future Lens 2024 event, phone company Tecno revealed groundbreaking camera technologies that promise to revolutionize mobile photography.
Not stopping at 200MP like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, Tecno is even more ambitious with Telephoto Sweep technology, allowing multiple full-frame photos to be combined to create a super-sharp 400MP photo, opening up unlimited zoom and photo editing capabilities.
Tecno's smart imaging technology was introduced at the event.
In addition, Tecno also introduced two new technologies:
- EVS Dynamic Snapshot: Combines DVS and CMOS sensors, helps capture sharp, blur-free motion images.
- TAZDPT: Dual telephoto zoom technology with AI algorithm, allowing up to 30x zoom while maintaining detail and minimizing shake.
The "brain" behind these improvements is Image Matrix, a new AI image processing system developed by Tecno, which optimizes color, image quality, night mode,... without draining the battery.
Although the official launch date has not been announced, these technologies show Tecno's ambition to lead the smartphone camera trend in the near future, creating more competition for giants like Samsung or Google.
