The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro laptop has officially launched with a powerful CPU and 2 AI tools - Galaxy AI and Copilot+.
A few months ago, Samsung launched the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360. Now, the company continues to introduce the Samsung G
alaxy Book5 Pro. Like its "brother" 360, this product is equipped with an Intel Lunar Lake processor with an NPU capable of processing 47 TOPS.
Notably, the computer allows running two AI platforms – Samsung’s own Galaxy AI and Microsoft’s Copilot+. This is the first device in the
series to feature the “AI Select” function, powered by Galaxy AI.

AI Select is similar to Circle to Search – it lets you circle an image or text to la
unch a new search. It can also be used to OCR and copy text from images or scan QR codes. However, it uses Samsung technology instead of Google (like on Galaxy phones).
All of this is possible with a touchscreen – the Galaxy Book5 Pro comes in 14-in
ch and 16-inch sizes. The display is Dynamic AMOLED 2X with Vision Booster and anti-reflective coating.
The NPU is also used for other tasks – such as Photo Remaster, which upscales old photos. It also has real-time translation and Note Assist.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro is equipped with a large battery that can
last up to 25 hours. If you watch videos, you will enjoy the sound of 4 speakers supporting Dolby Atmos.
Samsung has improved the webcam with Staggered HDR, which combines multiple exposures into a single image with a wide dynamic range. This is a feature common on smartphones but rare on webcams.
The laptop's connectivity options include: 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, 1 USB-A port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and microSD card slot.
