The mid-range smartphone pair OnePlus Ace 5 and 5 Pro have officially launched with extremely powerful chips, large batteries, and affordable prices.
OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro - the successors to the OnePlus Ace 3 and OnePlus Ace 3 Pro.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The smartphone has up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage and runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro has a “VC dual-band core” that dissipates heat 2x faster and a chip air duct design to quickly dissipate heat from the bottom of the chip. Additionally, the phone comes with Fengchi Gaming Core for 120 FPS gaming at 1080p resolution. OnePlus has also partnered with Genshin Impact to provide an enhanced gaming experience.
The phone features a 6.78-inch LTPO 8T AMOLED display with a resolution of 2780×1264 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and is protected by Crystal Shield glass. The display has a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Notably, the display also works when the user's hands are wet or wearing gloves.
Furthermore, the display has an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera. On the back, there are three cameras - a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX906 sensor, OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera (FOV 112°) and a 2MP macro camera. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro also comes with some AI features - allowing users to remove people from photos and blur images.
Powering this Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship is a 6,100 mAh carbon silicon battery with 100W charging capability.
Other highlights of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro include: X-axis linear motor, stereo speakers, multi-function NFC, IR blaster, and IP65 dust and water resistance rating. The smartphone also comes with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and a G1 gaming Wi-Fi chip.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro comes in purple, black, and white — with a ceramic back.
The smartphone comes in five storage options - 12GB RAM/ 256GB ROM, 12GB RAM/ 512GB ROM, 16GB RAM/ 256GB ROM, 16GB RAM/ 512GB ROM, and 16GB RAM/ 1TB ROM with prices starting at 3,399 yuan (about 11.8 million VND).

This lower-priced version doesn't come with a gaming Wi-Fi chip and the VC cooling system is different, but the phone still supports gaming at 120 FPS.

The OnePlus Ace 5 has a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and packs a 6,415 mAh carbon silicon battery, supporting 80W charging via USB-C port.
The phone comes in titanium silver, black, and celadon blue with a ceramic back. And like the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, the OnePlus Ace 5 comes in 12GB RAM/256GB ROM, 12GB RAM/512GB ROM, 16GB RAM/256GB ROM, 16GB RAM/512GB ROM, and 16GB RAM/1TB ROM configurations starting at 2,299 yuan (about 8 million VND).
The OnePlus Ace 5 is on sale in China via Oppo's online store while the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will be available from December 31.
