Realme confirms upcoming 14 Pro series, teases unique features, powerful performance and outstanding price in the mid-range segment.

According to Gizmochina, Realme has just officially announced the Realme 14 Pro product line, one of the most anticipated mid-range smartp

nced features, notably the back cover that can change color when exposed to cold temperatures, helping the product stand out in the segment.

The Realme 14 Pro series will include two models: Realme 14 Pro and Realme 14 Pro Plus. The highlight of the product is that the back of the 14 Pro Plus model has the ability to change

color when exposed to temperatures below 16 degrees Celsius. Unlike the UV color changing feature on the Realme 9 Pro Plus, this new tec

hnology was developed in collaboration with the famous Danish designer Valeur Designers.

The back of the phone will change from pearl white to bright blue, using real seashell pearl powder and microcapsules containing special pigments. Each device will have a uniq

ue pattern thanks to the difference in the pearl powder blend.

However, this color-changing feature has one limitation: prolonged exposure to sunlight can reduce its effectiveness over time, although the effect can last up to 12 months with normal use.

In addition to the unique color-changing back feature, the Realme 14 Pro Plus is equipped with a four-sided curved bezel-less display, providing an immersive visual experience. The circular camera module on the back, with three LED flashes branded "MagicGlow", is designed to improve low-light photography. The phone is also water-resistant with IP68 and IP69 certification, allowing for underwater photography by using the volume button as a shutter key.

Inside, the Realme 14 Pro Plus is powered by the latest Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, built on TSMC's 4nm process. This chipset brings a 40% increase in GPU performance and a 20% increase in CPU performance compared to the previous generation, along with 30% improved AI capabilities and better power efficiency.

The phone is expected to feature a 1.5K quad-curved display with 1.6mm ultra-thin bezels. The camera setup includes a 50MP + 8MP + 50MP configuration, with one of the 50MP lenses being a Sony IMX 882 periscope telephoto sensor that supports 3x zoom.
