A phone model is being developed by Redmi with a 7,500 mAh battery capacity and 90W fast charging, launching next year.
In the context that recent high-end Android phones have started to feature batteries ranging from 6,000 mAh to 6,500 mAh, the newly launched Realme Neo 7 with a 7,000 mAh battery has attracted a lot of attention.
According to leaked information, there is a possibility that there will be some high-end phones with battery capacity up to 7,000 mAh next year. In particular, blogger @DigitalChatStation (DCS) revealed that Redmi is testing a phone model with a 7,500 mAh battery, expected to launch in 2025.

According to DCS, the phone will be equipped with 90W fast charging, focusing on performance with a flat screen design, reasonable thickness and weight. Although there is no telephoto lens, the main camera of the device is said to be quite impressive. DCS also said that the product will be announced in the first half of 2025, although it is possible that the final battery capacity will be lower than expected.
Most likely, the phone model that DCS mentioned is the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, expected to launch in April 2025. Previous leaks show that the Turbo 4 Pro will have an LTPS OLED screen with thin bezels and 1.5K resolution. Inside, the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, with a metal frame design and a glass back.

Notably, Redmi phones are often rebranded as Poco in global markets. Therefore, the Turbo 4 Pro could be called the Poco F7 in markets outside China, replacing the Poco F6 that launched earlier this year as the Redmi Turbo 3 in China.
