Vivo is gearing up to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the Vivo X200 Ultra, in 2025. A recent leak has revealed some intriguing details about the camera setup of the device.
Known for its innovations in mobile photography, Vivo looks to up the ante with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, improved video capabilities, and camera design.

The Vivo X200 Ultra is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. The main camera will be equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a large aperture, promising excellent performance in low-light conditions.
For video enthusiasts, the X200 Ultra promises to be a standout offering with 4K video recording at 120fps on all lenses. The device will also allow seamless switching between lenses during filming. In particular, Vivo will equip this phone with a new generation of in-house image chips, which will improve image quality and processing speed.
The X200 Ultra's camera cluster design is said to have been improved, giving it a more streamlined look than its predecessor, the X100 Ultra, which was launched in May this year. While the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini models, which were launched in October, used the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, the X200 Ultra will switch to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, ensuring top-notch performance and efficiency.
In addition to its powerful configuration, the X200 Ultra also has a 2K resolution screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a superior viewing experience compared to the 1.5K screen on the standard and Pro versions. The device is also equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
