While some phone ma
kers may be pulling out of the foldable phone industry, Samsung is going all in. Despite disappointing
sales, Samsung is still releasing successors to its foldable phones, as well as working on a triple-folding smart
phone — expected to launch later this year.
According to reliable source Jukanlosreve, the four foldable phones that Samsung will launch this year are:
- Galaxy Z Flip 7
- Galaxy Z Flip FE
- Galaxy Z Fold 7
- Tri-fold screen smartphone
In fact, the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold phones did not sell as well as the company expected.
According to reports, the upcoming Galaxy Z phones will have even lower sales.

Foldable smartphones are stuck in a “love it or hate it” cycle. In other words, they’re not yet compelli
ng enough for users, and there’s still a crease in the folding screen.
Because of the high cost, Samsung plans to release a limited number of foldable phones - around 200,000 units. According to sources, they will cost more than $2,000 (about 5
0.4 million VND). Previously, Apple Vision Pro glasses, priced at $3,499 (about 88.2 million VND), only sold around 400,000 units.

So how big will this Galaxy Fold be? According to rumors, it will come in two different main screen s
izes, with the main screen measuring at least 9.5 inches when fully opened. The screen will fold in from both sid
es, similar to the tri-fold concept that Samsung showed off at CES 2025.
Finally, the release date of the Galaxy Fold is quite contradictory. Initial reports suggested that the phone would launch in 2026. On the other hand, new reports suggest that
it will launch in the third quarter of this year. Samsung's "super product" will be produced from the second quarter and the phone could be announced at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
