On the first day of the 2025 calendar year, many Apple authorized retail systems (AAR) once again adjusted the selling price for the iPhone 16 series down. Previously, a survey in late December 2024 showed that the price of the iPhone 16 series had dropped quite sharply, and now it has continued to drop by up to 1.5 million VND depending on the product.

As of January 1, 2025, iPhone 16 series products, especially iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, have arrived in more quantity than when they were first launched, so they are in stock, except for iPhone 16 512GB which is out of stock at CellPhoneS.
In general, all AARs in the survey are offering much better prices than they did last month. FPT Shop and CellphoneS are quite competitive in terms of price, while TGDĐ is still the AAR with a higher listed price than the market.
Specifically, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, depending on the capacity version, will have a direct price reduction of several hundred thousand VND to 800,000 VND compared to last month, not including other incentives. On this occasion, the "hot" iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are also being discounted by AARs by up to 1.5 million VND compared to last month. Previously, these models were discounted by 1.5 million VND.
For example, CellphoneS is selling the iPhone 16 Plus 512GB at a pretty good price for consumers - 31.99 million VND, a further reduction compared to last month, currently 1 million VND cheaper than TGDĐ and 500,000 VND cheaper than FPT Shop. Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max versions at CellphoneS, FPT Shop and TGDĐ are all quite balanced.
In terms of products, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus continue to maintain the familiar design with an aluminum frame and Ceramic Shield tempered glass, but the thinner screen bezels give a more modern feel. Both versions use the A17 Bionic chip, a 6.1-inch (iPhone 16) and 6.7-inch (iPhone 16 Plus) Super Retina XDR screen. However, the 12MP dual camera system only supports basic 4K video recording, without professional filming features like the Pro line.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are upgraded with a lightweight and durable titanium frame, along with the thinnest screen bezels ever. The Pro models also feature a 120Hz ProMotion display, providing a smoother experience than the standard versions. In particular, the A18 Pro chip on the Pro line not only increases processing speed but also supports advanced heat dissipation technology, suitable for intensive use. The superior camera system of both has a 48MP main sensor, accompanied by a 5x optical zoom feature.
