the screen, the iPhone 18 Pro models will still have a small hole at the top of the screen to accommodat
e the front camera, similar to the design of many new Android smartphones, including Google's P
ixel 9 and Samsung 's Galaxy S24 . It is curre
ntly unclear whether these devices will be equipped with the Dy
namic Island feature, which hides the Face ID sensor like on current iPhone models.
Ross Young has previously expressed hope that the iPhone will soon have both FaceID and a front-facing
camera built into the display. If these changes are made, th
e iPhone could potentially achieve a truly all-screen design in the future.
