Which upcoming iPhone models will have FaceID under the screen?

Despite having FaceID under the screen, the new iPhone models will still have a small hole at the top of t

he screen to accommodate the front camera.

In April 2023, display industry analyst Ross Young published a roadmap showing that the iPhone 17

Pro models would feature under-display FaceID technology. However, in May 2024, the expert announced tha

the change had been delayed to 2026. This means that under-display FaceID technology could be introduced on

the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max models next year.

Ross Young has previously expressed hope that the iPhone will soon have both FaceID and a front-facing
