Leaked information has revealed that the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 phone will have a variable camera and many features that promise to bring new experiences to users.
According to recent leaks, Xiaomi is developing a new foldable phone called MIX Flip 2. Recently, this product has attracted attention with a lot of shared information. Recently, a post from XiaomiTime revealed the camera specifications of MIX Flip 2.

According to the source, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will use a 50MP OV8000 main sensor and a 32MP OV32B40 front camera, similar to the previous MIX Flip model. However, the big difference is that the new phone will remove the 50MP telephoto lens of its predecessor, replacing it with a 50MP Samsung S5KJN5 ultra-wide-angle camera. This change may disappoint many users, as telephoto cameras are often considered more useful than ultra-wide-angle cameras.
In addition, the Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 will meet the IPX8 standard for water resistance and support wireless charging, features not available in the previous version. This product is also said to be equipped with a larger battery, with a capacity of about 5,600 mAh or 5,700 mAh. Inside, the phone will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and have a thinner design than the previous generation.
Notably, last August, the MIX Flip 2 was spotted with two model numbers, 2505APX7BC and 2505APX7BG, in the GSMA IMEI database. The first model is believed to be the Chinese version, while the second is likely the global variant. The “2505” prefix could indicate that the foldable phone will launch in May 2025.
