Here are 7 new features coming to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max this September.
1. 24MP front camera
The iPhone's camera gets better every year, but Apple's big improvements are often focused on the rear camera.

However, with the iPhone 17 series, Apple will upgrade the front camera from a 12MP sensor to a brand new 24MP sensor.
This will bring major improvements, bringing the quality of the selfie camera closer to the iPhone's rear camera.

2. A19 Pro Chip
Apple will once again upgrade its new iPhones with a new and improved A-series chip. This year, it will be the A19 Pro chip.

Apple's best processors will be reserved for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro
Max. While the new iPhone 17 Air is expected to win the hearts of many users, it will only have the A19 chip like the standard iPhone 17.
3. 12GB RAM - the most ever on an iPhone
The advent of AI has made RAM in Apple devices increasingly important.
iPhone 15 owners know this better than anyone, as RAM limitations make the device incompatible with Apple Intelligence.

Apple plans to offer the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models with 12GB of RAM — the most ever on an iPhone. That's 50% more than the 8GB of RAM in the iPhone 16 Pro and the standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air.
4. Apple's internal Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips
For years, Apple has been working on two modems of its own: a 5G modem and a Wi-Fi modem. Now, both projects are coming to fruition.
The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to use Apple's new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips.
However, only the iPhone 17 Air will have Apple's own 5G modem, with the iPhone 17 Pro models still using Qualcomm's more advanced modem for another year.
