In recent years, Samsung has been criticized for being conservative in the design and features of its high-end phones.

In particular, the Galaxy S25 series has disappointed many users because it d
oes not have many improvements compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24
. Although equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a new ultra-wide camera o
n the Ultra version, these products still retain many features from last year.
When compared to its co
mpetitors, Samsung seems to be falling behind. This makes consumers increasingly think of turning their backs on Galaxy products,
especially in the context of the smartphone market witnessing many advanced technologies on other products as below.
Silicon-carbon battery
One of the biggest issues with Samsung Galaxy is battery capacity. The G
alaxy S25 series doesn't have any changes in battery capacity compared to the S24 series, and the S25 Ultra doesn't even improve on the S20 Ultra from 2020. The standard Galaxy S25 only h
as a 4,000 mAh battery, which sounds good but can leave you needing to recharge it before the end of a day.

Meanwhile, brands like OnePlus, realme, and HONOR have introduced phones with larger battery capacities thanks to silicon-carbon
has a 6,000 mAh battery, the realme GT7 Pro has a 6,500 mAh battery, and the HONOR Magic 7 Pro has a 5,850 mAh battery. Unfortuna
tely, Samsung has yet to adopt this technology, even with the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge.
Hopefully Samsung will catch up in 2026, as leaks suggest that future phones could incorporate advanced battery technology. Produ
cts like the Xiaomi 15 and vivo X200 Pro Mini, with 5,400 mAh and 5,700 mAh batteries respectively, show that improving battery capacity in the same size is entirely possible.
Camera hardware
Both the base and Plus versions of the Galaxy S25 still use a 1/1.56-inch 50MP camera - a design that has been around since the Galaxy S22 series launched in 2022. This means that users have not seen any upgrades in the past 4 years. The 10MP 3x telephoto camera on all three phones is also not competitive, especially at the price of 30.99 million VND of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, despite the product adding a 5x zoom lens.
The camera system has not changed much.

Meanwhile, competitors are offering high-end products with periscope cameras up to 200 MP, along with larger main cameras that improve image quality in low light and create more natural background blur effects. Today, even mid-range phones are equipped with 50 MP cameras with 2x or 3x zoom, allowing them to compete directly with the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus.
It's clearly time for Samsung to upgrade the cameras on the Galaxy S26 models, at least with a 3x 50MP camera, while also considering improving the main camera on the base and Plus models.
