The iPad Air has long been a favorite choice for many users who want a versatile tablet without spending more than VND 20 million for the high-end iPad Pro.
The iPad Air M3 model that Apple suddenly introduced recently has really caused a lot of trouble for users. This stems from the fact that the iPad Air M3 looks quite similar to the iPad Air M2, even without any design differences when all the upgrades are mainly focused on the new generation M3 chip. This means that the iPad Air M3 is simply an iPad Air M2 with a faster processor chip.
My experience with the 11-inch iPad Air M2 shows that it's an excellent tablet, so upgrading to the iPad Air M3 simply for the extra processing power is worth it. Still, the M3 chip makes the new iPad Air easier to edit photos and videos, and it's great for gaming and everyday tasks like emailing and web browsing.
Like its predecessor, the iPad Air M3 is also compatible with the latest Apple Pencil Pro, which helps provide users with a variety of smart features like haptic feedback and precise control options.
The single camera retains the same resolution as its predecessor.
The iPad Air M3 also features a high-resolution Liquid Retina display, impressive battery life, 128GB of standard storage, fast Wi-Fi, and a Center Stage front-facing camera for more interactive video calls. The device is also capable of running Apple's new AI software that makes it easier for users to write emails, edit photos, and organize their inbox.
However, despite the improvements, the iPad Air M3 still doesn't have new colors, no design changes, and doesn't address some of the issues that users criticized in the previous version. These shortcomings include not upgrading the display technology to 120 Hz and not adding the Face ID screen unlock feature. The good news is that users will still receive a charger with a good quality braided USB-C to USB-C cable.
The device uses a USB-C port with the included charger and cable.
While the iPad Air M3 isn’t a bad product, this upgrade is a bit disappointing as there aren’t many significant changes. The starting price of the iPad Air M3 in Vietnam is 16.99 million VND. However, at the moment the product is not yet available in Vietnam, so users will have to wait a little longer to buy the product.
Note that if you want the larger 13-inch iPad Air M3, more internal storage, and accessories like the Apple Pencil or Magic Keyboard, the total cost will be much higher.
