The OnePlus Ace 5S is expected to feature impressive features, a large battery, and some notable design improvements.
OnePlus is planning to introduce new Ace series smartphones in the first half of 2025, with many notable upgrades in performance, display and battery life. Among them, OnePlus Ace 5S is expected to be the successor with improvements in processor, design and usability, to optimize user experience.
According to @DigitalChatStation, the OnePlus Ace 5S will be one of three smartphones that the company is expected to launch in the near future. Previously, OnePlus introduced the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro duo in China, and now, the successor versions are gradually being revealed with many interesting information. Besides the Ace 5S, OnePlus is also developing the Ace 5V, expected to use the Dimensity 9350 processor, while the Ace 5S will be equipped with the Dimensity 9400+, an upgraded version of the Dimensity 9400.

Recently, a Weibo post by @DigitalChatStation revealed many important details about the configuration of OnePlus Ace 5S. This new phone will focus on upgrading the screen, performance and battery life, to bring a better experience to users.
OnePlus Ace 5S is expected to have a flat 6.83-inch LTPS OLED screen, 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, promising to bring sharp and smooth images. The most important highlight of the device is the Dimensity 9400+ processor, expected to launch on April 11, with improved performance compared to the previous generation.
As for the battery, there are two possibilities being considered: OnePlus could equip a 7,000 mAh battery with an 80W charging speed, or use a larger 7,500 mAh battery but with a slower charging speed. However, the Ace 5S may not support 100W or 120W super fast charging technology like some other high-end flagships.
The camera system on the OnePlus Ace 5S will also have some changes compared to its predecessor. The device is expected to be equipped with a 50MP main sensor, providing better detailed photography capabilities, but without a telephoto lens. The back design of the device will likely be more minimalistic, eliminating the circular camera cluster seen in the previous generation.
Another notable point is that the OnePlus Ace 5S may no longer use the Alert Slider lever, one of the characteristics of this brand. Instead, the company will introduce a new button called "Magic Cube", allowing users to customize according to their needs, providing a more flexible experience.
While there is no official information from OnePlus yet, recent leaks suggest that the Ace 5S will be a smartphone focused on performance, a large screen, and impressive battery life. With a Dimensity 9400+ processor, a 1.5K OLED screen, and a battery that can reach up to 7,500 mAh, this could be one of the options worth considering in the mid-high-end segment. We will have to wait for more official information from OnePlus to know if the Ace 5S is really as desirable as leaked.
