Redmi K90 series promises to impress with 6.8-inch screen, 7,000 mAh battery and 3nm+ chip, launched earlier in October.
Although there is still some time until the official launch date, information about the Redmi K90 series has begun to appear online. On the evening of March 7, a technology blogger revealed that the Redmi K90 series could have a large screen of up to 6.8 inches and is in the process of testing with a telephoto lens.

When asked about battery capacity, the blogger said that Redmi is testing a 7,000 mAh battery. This is especially noteworthy because this year, many mid-range smartphones have had significant upgrades in battery capacity, with 7,000 mAh gradually becoming the standard.
Meanwhile, last year, phone models with large batteries mostly stopped at 6,000 mAh. Even some smartphone models with 7,500 mAh batteries may be launched this year.
According to previous leaks, the standard version of the Redmi K90 may be equipped with a 3nm+ process chip, jointly developed by Qualcomm and Redmi. This chip is said to have a completely new architecture, with expected performance approaching the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
In addition, the launch date of the Redmi K90 series may be earlier than the previous generation, expected in October, while last year's K80 series was not officially launched until the end of November.
As for the Redmi K90 Pro, many sources say that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 mobile platform and have a 50MP telephoto periscope camera. In terms of design, the K90 Pro will continue to inherit the style of the K80 Pro, with a flat 2K resolution OLED screen.
